Compiles the transcribed versions of the many surveys George Gibbs conducted of Northwest Coast tribes and their language and culture, 1855-56. His ethnohistory and ethnographic manuscripts have been partially transcribed and published before, but this is a new transcription that brings all the documents together for the first time.
