The front side depicts the Virgin and Child, and the reverse depicts angels in all four corners.The single panel inlaid with carved stone reliefs of the Mother and Child on one side and four cherubs on the other has a flaring handle on the top so it could be tied to a necklace or stood upright for viewing.
