Late-19th-c. pyx with a sterling silver casing and 14K gold interior. It was presented to Rev. Peter J. Blenkinsop, S.J. on August 15, 1884 on the occasion of his golden jubilee as a priest of the Society of Jesus. It is engraved on one exterior side with Blenkinsop’s name and the date of presentation, and the other exterior side features a cross and other repoussé decoration.Made/Created
