This sculpture is named after B.K.S Iyengar, a renowned yoga instructor and friend of Engman’s. After the guru’s 1976 visit to Haverford, Pennsylvania, Engman created a series of sculptures inspired by Iyengar. This sculpture demonstrates Engman’s interest in playing with geometric shapes and interlocking discs. The most well-known Iyengar sculpture, named After Iyengar (1978), is located at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia. Label Type
