19th-c. Neapolitan creche figure of a zampognaro, somone who plays the zampogna, a type of double-chantered bagpipe. Commonly seen in Neapolitan Nativity scenes, Zampognaros are often depicted as shepherds who are believed to have played their instruments to honor the baby Jesus. Part of a set of three Neapolitan creche figures.
