"COMMERCE STREET FROM MAIN STREET, FREDERICKSBURG, VA." (typed BC) - This offset lithography postcard depicts a view down Commerce Street from the intersection at Main Street. The street is filled with ~1910s cars and a horse-drawn open carriage. The streets are lined with colorful business fronts, many of which have awnings. The most detailed front was Bond's drugstore. The building featured yellow brick with a painted sign saying "BOND'S" in black on a white background. Below the sign is an advertisement saying "23 for PAIN" in black paint on a white background with a CocaCola emblem at the bottom. The building also features a flagpole on its roof. Visiting these establishments are formally dressed men and women of all ages. In the background powerlines can be seen leading into the sunset. In the intersection there is a small sign that says "KEEP TO THE RIGHT."
