"High School and War Memorial, Fredericksburg, VA." (TC to TR) - This offset lithography postcard depicts the Fredericksburg Area War Memorial in the foreground of the James Monroe High School. The Memorial consists of a cannon and stone set flagpole with an American Flag. The high school is a split-level three-story red brick building, which appears to be built in a H-shape. The entryway is slightly set forward from the rest of the building. To the left of the school, there appears to be a bare or agricultural field. To the right of the school is playground and possibly residential houses with tree coverage. Typed in the bottom right corner of the border "122069."
