(A) - (Front): "BURYING FEDERAL DEAD BACK OF "SENTRY BOX" IN FREDERICKSBURG, AFTER THE BATTLE OF FREDERICKSBURG." In the foreground of this offset lithography postcard there is a row of bodies covered in blankets or placed in wooden caskets. Behind and to the side of this are a number of workers with shovels. Surrounding and behind these workers is a row of finished graves and tombstones. In the background of the scene there are a number of medium sized trees and residential houses.

(B) - (Front): This offset lithography postcard depicts a number of dead Confederate soldiers dead in a trench at the foot of the historic stone wall at Fredericksburg Battlefield following the 1862 Battle of Fredericksburg. In the post card we are looking down Sunken Road with only a little bit of the field and hill on either side of the road being visible. The Innis House appears to be represented in the background.

(C) - (Front): "PONTOON BRIDGE OVER RAPPAHANNOCK, FREDERICKSBURG, VA." This offset lithography postcard depicts the Pontoon Bridge over the Rappahannock River in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The foreground of the image is a wide flat field leading up to the bank of the river. Along the bank of the river there is a cavalry unit depicted in a linear formation. Prior to getting to the line of cavalry there is a horse-drawn covered carriage. Across the whole span of the Rappahannock the pontoon bridge can be clearly seen. It appears that on the opposite bank there are a few paths diverging from the pontoon bridge. On the other bank of the river a large hill can also be seen, which at its foot has a reasonably dense forest.
(Back): "44293--PUB. BY R.A. KISHPAUGH, FREDERICKSBURG, VA."
(D) - (Front): "CONFEDERATE BREASTWORKS ON MARYE'S HEIGHTS TAKEN DURING THE CIVIL WAR" This offset lithography postcard depicts Marye's Heights during the Civil War. The left side of the postcard is largely covered by vegetation. Going down the center of the postcard we see what appears to be the fortifications at the site. Sitting on the fortification are two men overlooking the area below Marye's Heights. In the background there are a number of structures, livestock, carriages, and tents for the military camp.
