The image shows the bust of a white, middle-aged man with a round face, closely cropped hair, and oval-shaped, metallic glasses. He is dressed in a dark suit jacket, a dark vest, a white collared shirt, and a patterned tie. The image's colors are mostly light gray, except for the darker clothing of the man. There is an overall grainy quality to the image. The background behind the man is textured and partially covered in shadow. The man's gaze is off-center from the camera. Around the image is a white border. The reverse of the image has adhesive residue around the edges. Also on the reverse of the image are three inscriptions written in pencil. The first is written in print and reads "Alvin T. Embrey" and is located towards the right edge and about one-third of the way up from the bottom edge of the print.
