The black-and-white studio portrait shows the bust of a white, middle- to late-aged man with a thin face and gray hair parted to the right. He has a neutral expression and is looking away from the camera towards the right of the viewer. The man is wearing a dark suit jacket with a pocket square, a white collared shirt, and a paisley tie. The image has a thin, white border around the edges. On the reverse of the image there is adhesive residue along the edges of the print, as well as a stripe of discoloration near the right edge of the print and in the top portions. In the bottom right corner is a small piece of adhesive tape. There is a pencil inscription written in cursive in the top right corner, which reads "Wor. / Eldwood F. Wymbs / 1937."
