This color, head-and-shoulders portrait shows a middle-aged man with a mustache and black, wide-brimmed hat. The man wears a black suit jacket, a black bowtie, and a white collared shirt, with a thick necklace around his neck and over his shoulders. It is made up of linked metal ornaments, and has a large square pendant hanging from the central compass-shaped ornament. There are small, colored pins on the lapels of the man's suit jacket, and a nametag on the man's jacket. Behind the man is a mottled backdrop of warm brown and blue-black. The reverse of the image shows the faint, diagonal, repeating watermark of the manufacturer of the digital print, as well as the digital name and copyright information of the print. This string of text is positioned vertically from the bottom center of the print.
