This photograph is a portrait of a middle-aged man set in a white, oval window. The portrait shos the sitter's head, shoulders, and mid-chest. The man has a long graying beard and mustache as well as neatly side-combed graying hair with a receding line. He looks at the camera. He is wearing a three-piece suit with wide lapels that appears to be made of wool or a thick material. His white collared shirt is buttoned all the way with a slim black bowtie. The back of the image is stamped in red in the lower left corner, diagonally with "A.W. Campbell / 501 CHARLOTTE ST. / Fredericksburg, Va. / JUN 6 1967" (centered). Above the stamp, handwritten in pencil and cursive writing is "Framed by".
