General Notes

Note

Gregory Hagenston discovered this Hadrosaur humerus by accident. In the process of using a pick to dig around a sandstone encased Hadrosaur Jawbone, the end of the pick hit something that crunched. Upon examination it was discovered the pick hit the end of a dinosaur bone. This fossil was then carefully excavated, surprisingly in one piece. In the process of excavation a large flat vertebrae with spines was also discovered and excavated. The Hadrosaur humerus has surface fractures, however the bone came out in one piece. After cleaning the dirt off the surface, the bone was varnished to keep the surface fractures stabilized and to also bring out the beauty of the bone.
