General Notes

Note

Turtle shells scutes are a common Late Cretaceous fossil. The majority are scattered pieces. A complete shell section is a rare find and is generally fractured. The restoration is a jig saw puzzle experience, fitting and gluing the pieces back together. Many times brought in from the field in a cloth sack of pieces.
