General Notes

Note

Wes and his dad, Les, donated this fossil to Frontier Gateway Museum and then after a decade or more of neglect the fossil was rescued from the back of a wagon exposed to the elements and now decades later has been returned to the museum to be glued back together and prepared for display. This huge bone could very well be the ilium of a T-Rex. Details of the original excavation can be found on pages 339 to 341 in the book, Greg and Doc, Two Souls Surrounded by Badlands — a Memoir.
