Description

This watercolor still life depicts three wooden barrels in front of a white clapboard house. The bottom half of a brown wooden door with a stone step is visible just behind the barrels. The middle barrel, slightly off center, reflects the most sunlight, indicated by Mitchell's use of highlights.

Mitchell received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an Honorary Masters Degree from the Columbus College of Fine Art and Design. Mitchell has received over 600 national and international awards for his work.
