White silk covered shoes. Heeless straights. Narrow white silk grosgrain ribbon ties andsquare toes. High straight vamp. Edges finished with narrow matching ribbon and tiny bow on edge of vamp. Kid lining and insole. Toes lined with linen. No back seam. Insole on one inked “Droit’ with an inked D on the left side, other bears oval paper label reading “Viault Este - Paris - No. 17 Rue de las Paix, Fournisseur brevete de l’Imperatrix des francais Thierry & Sons, Regent Street 278, London” Both have inked size on insole (B 2/E?) “W” OR “M” stamped on sole. 9” long.
