Description

Machine-knitted stockings made of heavy pale pinkish-tan silk. Square toe; seam under heel but not under foot; 1 1/4 in border top and bottom; with red; each marked with holes; clocks are wide mesh extending from the toe to mid calf; bordered with zigzags; separate triangular section at heel; very decorative point at top; similar geometric elaborations worked up the center from toe to ankle.
