Description

1) Spectacles, brass, octagonal lenses, narrow pin and loop slide bows with loop ends. Crank nose piece. Covered with grungy black substance, either dirt or paint, worn away in predictable places. Impressed 4 [?] and circular shape one proper right bow. After cleaning, the brass appears to have been silver or nickel plated originally. 2) Case, shaped cardboard or papier mache covered with brown leather dyed black. Long, flattened tube shape, opening with thumb hole on one short end. Lined with thin velveteen.
