Description

Entirely hand stitched girl's dress made of bright red “cashmere” (fine twilled wool). Ornamented with black soutache braid. Molded black glass buttons with wire shanks. Loose-fitting bodice gathered into waistband; back opening; short neckband. Skirt fullness controlled with multi-layered box pleats all around, long pocket in proper right side. Large bishop sleeves gathered into narrow cuffs that button. Bodice and sleeves lined with tan glazed cotton. Leafy vine meander border around the hem, scrolls around cuffs, neckband and waistband.
