Description

Infant’s hat made of pressed paper covered with apple green silk velvet; the large, low oval crown has radiating fluted form; narrow rolled brim; hatband is narrow strip of cardboard covered with brown silk folded lengthwise to form a protruding ledge effect. Green and brown velvet ribbon double bow with a crystal bead in the center, and a crystal bead dangle on each hanging end. Brown silk covered flat button in the center top. Lined with off white cotton, green stamped logo, that appears to read “USA.” Gummed shop sticker still in place. Elastic ties, one still attached to original cotton flap, presently tie close underneath in a bow.
