Description

Entirely hand-stitched, short stock made of thin black and white pin striped silk on the bias; long wraparound ends that cross in front under a fairly large flat bow with fringed ends, one end passing to the back through a slit on the left side of the neck; fastens in the back with a white China button on a short strip of elastic, that fits into a cord loop on the other end. Lined with white silk on the main part, tan cotton on the extensions, and black silk under the chin. The top and bottom edges of the front are reinforced with wire.
