Black silk taffeta band, with diagonal ends finished with small balls of black silk cord. Unlined; slightly shaped by 3 stays encased with machine-stitching in white cotton tapes, their ends stitched to the opposite long sides, to encourage neat gathered or cummerbund effect. Very narrow hand stitched hem.
