Description

Beautifully hand embroidered sheer cotton mull. Horseshoe crown, deep brim. Heavy padded satin stitch and eyelets forming ferny sprays with scattered dots on field. Looks like the holes were intended for net insertion or needle lace. Fine drawstring in top hangs out at right front, forms tiny anchored loop at left front corner, ties in center back with similar drawstring going from center back to right front to form another anchored loop. No frill. Edges bound with fine sheer cotton or linen.
