Description

Entirely hand stitched white cotton. percale-like. Square-cut with fold at back and seam at top.Gathered across bottom with narrow linen tape; plied cotton drawstring between pair of eyelets at peak and about 3” in toward top of head. Double self frill fuller at CF and tapered to nothing at chin; frills have micro hems and micro tucks 1/4” away. 3/4” linen tape ties with tiny hems; at odd location, seemingly at ear level, until one shapes it with the drawstrings. Remains of tiny dark brown silk initials at CF, seems to have been GT.
