Description

Entirely hand stitched sheer muslin; embroidered with white cotton. Bowl shaped with side inserts extending into chin flaps. Bouquets of clover and ferns [?] at front and back and sides. Satin and stem stitches, eyelets and pulled thread centers of flowers.Edges bordered with eyelet sprigs. Sewing of seams a little sloppy but appears original. Shape does not seem to conform to a real head shape, and form is odd.
