Entirely hand stitched fine linen; embroidered with white linen in French knots, satin, outline and stem stitches. Drawn thread work centers on flowers. Deep round crown with circle insets CB. Medium brim. Two casings around base of crown; two in front, one in back. Two rows of Bucks-like lace around front. Brim has scrolled ribbon with leaf and flower accents. Similar gadroon-stripe design back section; circle has floral medallion.
