Description

"Entirely hand stitched cotton, with linen thread. Block print fabric with rose motif, deep brim with lappets to reach under chin, crown one piece to bottom edge where two wide woven cotton tapes emerge from a large eyelet in the center. Evidence of tape or the like sewn to ends of lappets. Front edge faced with print, interior lined with natural coarse linen. Closely quilted in braided twill effect so the cap is firm all over- cotton batting! Front edge finished with 1” wide robin’s egg blue silk ribbon turned under a bit to the inside.
