Entirely hand stitched thin white cotton. Medium brim with seam at top; long points under chin, cut with a slight angle at the bottom. Crown gathered into top of brim; the edge of the crown is not turned under but left with the raw edge showing. Cotton drawstring ties in center back. Flat ‘frill’ applied around perimeter ending in square, rather than the usual rounded ends at chin. Short self ties with selvage ends.
