Description

Infant’s cap, entirely hand stitched linen cambric. Cut from one piece with a deep brim whose sides extend to the back, meeting in a vertical seam, with the top of the brim reaching to the back, it edge gathered slightly into a horizontal seam atop the back seam - forming a T. Fine self- frill across the front and bottom. Casing and narrow draw-string at the base of the frill, and two more spaced an inch apart further back. Narrow cotton ties.
