Description

Small two drawer drop leaf table. Turned legs with casters. Knobs on second drawer only.

Context

This would have been known as a "work table." An example of furniture that could serve multiple functions - such as sewing or reading. The casters on the legs would suggest that it was intended to be movable. If used as a sewing table, for example, it could be moved from window to window to follow the light.
