Description

Thin, fine cotton, all hand stitched. Made from rectangles to form body, shoulder straps, sleeves and gussets. Pair of selvage gores on one side, and felled edge gores on the other. Very wide straight neckline with no evidence of drawstring control. The sleeve ends are embellished with folded-tape zigzag insertion, with an additional row on the edge. Name inked in center front neck: “Sarah Tompkins 30”
