Description

Entirely hand-stitched Bolero jacket made of silk taffeta. High neckline. Flaring front opening curving around the hem. The side seams are shaped slightly to flare away from a moderately high waist. Single bust dart. Moderate pagoda sleeves. Neckline and armscyes piped. Single hook and eye at neck. Front and hem edges are finished with quilled black magenta edged ribbon. The same ribbon is laid down outside of the sleeves. Sleeve ends faced with black taffeta. Lined with sturdy tan twilled cotton. Slight point in the ‘tail’ or hemline in the back.
