Description

Entirely hand-stitched Spencer jacket made of white linen. Shawl collar, medium height, and spread; low opening. Double-breasted; 4 pairs of buttonholes, 5 pairs of small, flat linen-covered buttons; rows angled, rather close to center front. High, wide placket pockets in front, angled up toward the front. Rather slim sleeves, long, separate, slightly angled cuffs with vent, no buttons. Waist length; no side seam; slight point in the hem of center back. Unlined; self-faced. Indecipherable orange ink inscription inside behind pocket.
