Hand made slit-vamp tie shoes of brown kid with hard soles. Straights with wide waist and oval toes. No heels. Lined with PW cotton. Edges finished with brown kid piping. 3 pairs of punched holes. Back seam, no side seam. Each sole bears handwritten penned inscription: “1816 Mrs. John Langley first ran alone in these shoes.”
