Description

Entirely hand-stitched boy’s frock or dress made of velveteen. Long-waisted. Printed with dark blue ground and alternating stripes of seaweed and white clovers. Very short skirt gathered onto the bodice. Narrow bell sleeves. Lined with coarse white cotton above. Sleeves and skirt have a cheap red geometric print. Double rows of white rikrak braid on sleeves and hem. 8 white China buttons inside to receive pants of some kind. 10 inkwell buttons on the front, with white and red borders. Seem to be replacements.
