Description

Entirely hand-stitched spencer jacket made of green silk velvet. The back and one underarm insert are made of a brighter green, pieced but having the expected side back seam, very slight bodice darts. Very long sleeves with slight fullness at top and shaped wrist, front closes with concealed hooks and eyes. Slightly wide of the neck with wide rounded, arched collar. Decorative black thread-covered small domed buttons with green thread loops around perimeter, down the center front. The collar is banded with 3 lighter green satin rollos, with another trio defining each side back seam and similar ones down the side fronts. Three more around the cuff. Body lined with white cotton, sleeves with green tiny checked silk gingham.
