Lady's shirtwaist made from cotton fabric with woven stripes and printed with a black diamond made of four small pierced squares. Entirely machined with some minor interior hand-finishing on raw seam edges. No yoke, but knife pleats on either side of upper chest area, above bust just below shoulder line. Shoulders are set at true shoulder line with small gathers but no puff. Sleeves are long and slightly full, and set into a gauntlet wrist which lays flat. Wrist opening is trimmed in machined Chantilly lace tape.
CB has two eyes to accommodate hooks for skirt, with two ties of self fabric that come forward to wrap around waistline. Bottom edge of shirtwaist is left raw with some small whip-stitches to keep it from fraying.
High round neckline with small stand with buttonhole in CB to accommodate a removable collar. CF closure of carved MOP buttons under a hidden placket.Collection
