The first woman is wearing a pink-yellow shot silk dress with a triple tiered skirt and scalloped slits in the sleeves. On her head, a blue bonnet adorned with pink roses. The second woman is wearing a purple plaid dress with long, tight sleeves. On her head, a white bonnet with a drooping plume. The third woman is wearing a grey dress with green lattice bands around the skirt, wrists, and the ends of her pelerine. On her head, a straw bonnet with pink ribbons. The second man is wearing a black tailcoat over a white waistcoat and grey pantaloons. Around his neck, a teal cravat. On his head, a black top hat. Above them, five drawings of bonnets.
