Entirely machine-stitched lady's mid-1890s winter coat made of black wool in a heavy weave pattern. Large puffed sleeve caps with a tiny waist and a large skirt. Cut full with faux pleats and tails in the back. High turn-down collar made of wool, faced in black silk taffeta. Interior seams are finished in the same black taffeta. Three-button front side closure. Buttonholes appear to be hand-worked several times.Collection
