Black silk gauze, leno construction. Rounded wide rectangle shape slightly gathered onto 3/4” black silk satin ribbon waistband extended into ties. Edge laid onto a 1.5” ivory taffeta ribbon band with a narrow slightly gathered self double frill. Other side of ribbon band finished with matching double-edged off-set gathers. All hand stitched. The fabric is patterned with widely spaced, multicolored warp-brocaded designs, some small springs alternating with scroll-like motifs.Collection
