White cotton lingerie petticoat. For an afternoon or summer lingerie dress.
Made of fine white cotton lawn with bottom flounce overlay. Overlay is made of strips of cotton lawn and machined lace insertions. Inner flounce is mad eof same lawn, with strip of bobbin lace along the bottom hem.
Side seams are machined with wiast is set by hand. Center back closure. Level across back hem, but slight gathering at CB. CB closure has abutton with the brand "Hart. Shaffer, Marx" which is a menswear company from Des Moines, Iowa. Possibly hand-made skirt using a menswear button.Collection
