Hand stitched, pieced. Two different bone 4-hole buttons stitched with heavy dark thread to CF waistband that is deeper in front, back slit with a pair of holes for lace. A simple slit in each side of the top of the waistband could slip over a brace button; two similar slits near CB. Front placket formed by turning edge to outside and stitching it down. Long legs taper to ankles, slit; narrow hem turned to outside. Remains of leather tape lace which appears to have tied across the calf to secure the leg opening, like the bands of breeches knees.
