Entirely hand stitched white, undecorated calico. High waist, very narrow back, full short sleeves set way back over shoulder blades. Low, narrow squarish neck. The self ties in back close the opening while forming a bit of volume of gathered cloth; they cross in back where one tie slips behind the other so as to overlap in front; plied drawstrings in CF and CB necklines and sleeve ends. 3 rows narrow tucks near hem; slight train.
