Description

Entirely hand stitched cotton with warpwise gauze stripes embellished with thick, meandering cotton threads. High waist, narrow back. low rounded neckline. Side/front opening on right side only, with bodice strap buttoning onto right shoulder; bodice underlined with overlapping linen flaps in front; sleeves have linen linings part way down, bottom edges free. 3/8” HW linen tapes attached inside CB at waist to draw back bodice close to body. Short puffed sleeves edged with narrow Val lace. Neckline in front and back controlled with narrow HW linen tape drawstrings. Skirt gored with fullness gathered tightly in back; attached self belt.
