Description

Entirely hand stitched shot silk dress. Rounded, trained back panel deeply pleated into narrow section of bodice. Stomacher front with shirred panel over bust and extensions to be pinned on shoulders. Deep round neckline. Deeply-set elbow-length tubular sleeve (enlarged in period) with a shorter and wider, somewhat flared oversleeve, each trimmed with a row of white silk cord. No interior bustle or cord to tie inside. Lined with linen, floating in front. .
