Description

Entirely hand stitched of thin cotton printed with a pale buff design of seaweed. Slightly pointed waistline, bodice has finely shirred fullness radiating from center front waist, releasing fullness at bust where it is shirred over the shoulders. V-neckline free of lining which shows above it a little. Sleeves have narrow upper section, separated by piping from the full lower section tapering to the wrist. Piped seams. Skirt gathered all around mounted inside the bodice which is lined with heavy cream plain weave cotton. Unlined skirt with a pocket on proper right. Hooks and eyes on the back opening. Center front bone present. Hem faced with cream sized cotton.
