Description

Entirely hand stitched of sturdy cotton printed with stripes in shades of brown. Slightly pointed waistline, bodice has shirred fullness radiating from center front waist, releasing fullness at bust where it is restrained by cording at the shoulders. V-neckline free of lining which shows above it a little. Sleeves have narrow upper section graduating to a slightly fuller lower section rather crudely gathered into a narrow band cuff. Piped seams. Skirt gathered all around mounted inside the bodice which is lined with heavy cream plain weave cotton. Unlined skirt with a pocket on proper right. Hooks and eyes on the back opening. Center front bone missing. Hem faced with brown cotton.
