Description

Hand-stitched dress made of green and violet plaid silk taffeta. Basque Top (a) - full bell sleeves with slightly gathered puffs at the top of the sleeve; pointed at the bottom. Bordered with long violet and black fringe; fringe applied on bodice to frame center front opening and spread to shoulders and across the back. Small thread covered. Non-functional buttons to match. Skirt (b) - fully gathered onto a modern acetate waistband.
