Hand-stitched dress made of white cotton gauze. Embroidered floral sprays decorate the garment. The skirt is made of two scalloped edged tiers topped by a narrow tier of rouching. In the back the tiers are replaced by a smooth, straight panel with 3 finished edges and floral motifs scattered appropriately for a shawl. The bodice is a basic organdy construction intended to be covered by a panel floating across the back from between the shoulders which is brought up around the neck like a large kerchief, crossed in front where the corners, each trimmed with a Dorset button, hook onto the skirt just below the waist.Collection
